Its looks like a good match for photoshop and its portable :) Thats a valuable app. I'd be very happy to see it on my peggie (but css-2 capable browser first :P).

hmmm, sounds like it's time to check out tablets and tablet support! i'd love to get back to some "real" painting again!

cecilia, tablets indeed! - I'm still holding on the first Kurta tablet design that ever ran on an Amiga, used it right up to the moment I got my Pegasos. And it's about time I got something newer - running on a Pegasos II!
Cool avatar, poundsmack. I used to get a lot of art submissions from people at the start of Phoenix years ago, TRYING to get that effect. But you did it!
poundsmack, you need it bigsize in your own personal image gallery on Phoenix site once we get all the Developer Connections running. Graphics Talent Pool resume, as it were : }
deal just let me know when u want me to uplaod it. i have many more u would like some i did and most other people did (some i am not sure if i did cuz they have been on my comp for so long hehe)

Cecilia, my Kurta might predate that. The tablet and Pencraft driver manual I have now is copyrighted March of 1989 - and that's a revision or two up from the original! I say we share whatever prize Targhan means to bestow ; }
poundsmack, image galleries are already available on the Phoenix website, but in the coming weeks we are working on setting up things quite a bit differently, working with the MDC codebase.
Either way, I'm sure people would like to see your work - and here on MorphZone too!
Being written in Free Pascal will be no issue soon. Genesi agreed to send me a Pegasos, to port Free Pascal Compiler 1.1 to MorphOS. (I've a contract here about that, and since i already helped in Amiga and OS/2 port of FPC, i've enough knowledge about the compiler to realize it.) After that, great applications like Pixel32 will be no longer unavailable for MOS! Stay tuned...
I just had a look on the Windows version of Pixel32 and it has plenty of nice features. As a paint program, it looks more powerful than anything else I have seen on MorphOS so far. It features everything you would expect from a modern paint tool (layers, etc.).
Unfortunately, it feels a bit slow in certain situations but this might be related to its custom GUI. Also, I wondered for what reason the demo version was trying to access the internet... Smells like spyware to me.
Apart from that, it seems to be fairly cheap. $32 sounds like a bargain.
