Your problem sounds outright messy at this point.  I would likely do a re-format, but I would definately check with the IRC channel first.  The gurus are in atm.  However you get your system back up and running, I would definately put the images on HDD to be prepared in case of a USB Drop.

I can certainly understand your frustration and fear.  My goodness, your post from before isn't showing good things.  If you have another system around (like a pc), you could try to use the serial output from the peggy and read the info from another machine using a telnet-like application. Another thought would be to remove your drives, all of them, to see what you get on screen.  A final thought to try is to remove, and reseat, the memory and any cards.  If, by some chance, your firmware is corrputed, it may be a simple matter of sending it in, then it's just a bit of time lost. I wouldn't worry so much about how the MorphOS-Team is going to react until you can get some working HW.  I promise, the MorphOS-Team is not as heartless as they advertise themselves
