As far as I remember, original CD I got had WarpOS and 68k versions that punched straight through to Paula (which would not work on any version of MorphOS, on any machine), and used cdplayer.library for CDDA which barely worked even at the time. It doesn't crash on MorphOS, but doesn't play CD music either.

However there was also a mission pack cd with an updated exe as well.

Hard for me to remember. I never really played the game on MorphOS, though I had gotten it to run. It had ran on my PPC Amiga well enough, and it wasn't all that great. The low res and limited scrollfield are very old fashioned, and like Napalm and a hundred other C&C clones, it had a difficulty curve that usually gave you three easy levels and then the next nearly impossible. Bought it on GoG for next to nothing years ago, but it had aged too badly to be worth a replay - much like Knights and Merchants.

Ok, I think I get it now. That patch is for getting CD audio to play. I played it in my A1200 loooong time ago. Files are dated 2000 and yes, the CD comes with 68k and WOS versions which is the one I played. But I don't remember if the CD audio worked.

I installed and played the 68k on MOS but never mind about CD audio. Haven't finished it on MOS though. Maybe I'll do now.

    Edit: typo

I wonder is there demo version and patch for it to make it working on PowerMac G5.

So far im stuck on error mentioned in patch description:
Support for graphics cards not supporting big endian modes added. Direct support for
the little endian RGB16PC mode, and (much slower) support for all other modes through
Picasso 96. Just run the installer to patch the executables.

I assume that patch is for full game.

It shouldn't be difficult to find the Amiga ISO floating around Amiga websites. It has been almost 30 years after all.

    Try turransearch.

Well i own it multiple times on PC - cover cds, digital platforms, question is it there is MorpOS / Amiga specific version or not.
So far only looked at demo, because its sort of enough for checking how good is port and it takes only fracture of space, if good im starting to look for full version.

https://aminet.net/search?query=e2140g suggests that the Amiga executables of Earth 2140 can run with (most? all?) data files from the PC version. There is no MorphOS executable of Earth 2140.

Ok great, thanks for info. When i started to use MorphOS i searched for PowerPC Amiga games list,
    https://www.lemonamiga.com/games/list.php?list_hardware=PPC
because is my first PowerPC Amiga machine (dual core G5 PowerMac 7_2, unfortunately with too new Radeon 9600 pro - so only Warz3D), before i was using only emulation.

And the description looked like that there is specific Amiga version 2001, of other 1998 game and its marked as commercial.
Another thing pc version is full cd, so i expected that installation would be huge, but on link above it seems that amiga version is stripped to 17 floppies, or there are multiple version, because link above have CD label.

Yes, and it's fully correct at that. Regardless of PC and Amiga releases using or not using identical data files, the Amiga release of course comes with Amiga-specific executable files (m68k and WarpOS). I believe it was established back then (see comments #1 to #26 in this very thread) that running the WarpOS executable on MorphOS results in audio not working (tries direct custom chip access), while running the AHI-patched m68k executable (see comment #19) on MorphOS results in everything including audio working fine.

Both original PC and Amiga version are CD-only releases. I don't know why the uploader of the German data files decided to distribute the data as 36 LZH archive files each with a size not exceeding the storage space of an Amiga HD floppy disk instead of simply putting everything in one single archive, or maybe in 9 archive files, one for each type of data.
