Hello folks...I applied for a Peg I g3 600 board with intentions of coding.. being that I code all day at work and go home to code more (hobby..its kinda fun) I thought I'd do coding for the Peggy. Well, I seem to not have as much time as I thought and have a guilty concience about keeping a machine that was given to me for FREE in return for work. So with that said I am going to give mine up to a PROGRAMMER FOR FREE if you pay shipping. If you are NOT a PROGRAMMER do NOT ask. I want to see this go to someone who needs it. After the Peggy gets more software etc I'll break down and buy a Peg II.
My name is Johannes Lundberg (AKA 'jojo'). I'm a 20 year old coder from Sweden and I've been coding for quite some years now. My main programming language is C/C++, mostly in a Linux/*NIX-environment but I prefer to make programs runnable on multiple platforms. Have been doing some test coding for Symbian/series60 the last weeks. I also feel comfortable coding Perl, Python, PHP and even Java. Futher I have some experience coding x86-ASM, only some smaller programs.
When it comes to application areas, I prefer to code network related utilities. Though
If I got your PegI I would start with trying to port smaller, yet useful, open source programs to MorphOS. Then when I get more experience with MorphOS I would be interested in helping porting larger applications, maybe Mozilla if I can help.
If you want more information from me, please email me on jojo@infidyne.com.

I bet that a Peg for AC3D is a really good idea...
In fact, i have a 'tooth' against Lighwave now: i call them (in France) in order to have their so good soft again on my Amigas and Peg, i want even to by a new licence (i had it but lost my disks, docs... in the water at the house of a friend) they told me to wait their recall... now there's a month and a half... AC3D supports DXF/DWG... and i like Autocad too...so ... all good!
ok..after talking to Andy...we were discussing TCL/Tk...and I told him I did not know if tcl/tk was avail for MOS..so here was his reply...
================= I think it's best to wait until we know that TCL/TK and OpenGL work before attempting a port. I'm sorry I don't have time to spend porting external libraries. ==================
Kelly Samel at Emerald Imaging has already ported Mad Bomber and Circus Linux for free and has Aqua in the super bundle and is working on Hyper Cannon and Eve game for Morphos.
No big deal about "secret" other than I can just say his work would be important, moreso than anything I've done.
If I cannot find the person I'm looking for, my vote would definately be for Alfonso. He's put forth a great effort over the years, and Alfonso has never asked for very much in return. There's just too many people I can say that about.
