The reality is the Mirari or a Powerbook 1.67 (given they are about the same speed wise) is perfectly fast for MorphOS for most things. Wayfarer is about the only application that will use as much power as you can provide it, but for email, word processing, spreadsheets, games, pagestream, crm, etc. They are fast enough to get the job done well imho anyways.

Sure I wouldn't say no to a faster system, but given how good MorphOS is I'm in no hurry...

I'm at a loss how to parse this. How can a message be delivered earlier if sent later?
I'm sure my message was delivered to the MorphZone forum earlier than Tuvok's message was delivered to the Amigans.net forum because I was faster at sending than Tuvok :-)

No, not even dual-core.

With this example, he probably thought of using kind of AMP/ASMP to have several cores render the contents of several browser tabs in parallel, which might or might not make sense (if at all, then best with tabs that are currently not displayed) but wouldn't require system memory access by those cores.

It will be a while as boards still need to be produced/shipped/finished but it seems the club will be less exclusive later this year ;(

Here is what's currently happening behind the scenes:

We have 100 boards in process. Once this batch comes in and CPUs are placed, we'll have a much clearer view of our yield quality based on some bigger volumes.

The amount of interest we’ve received has exceeded the size of our initial batch! As a result, a backorder log has naturally formed. This will probably mean a second batch is needed.

We know not everyone who filled out the interest form or has send me a mail will end up placing a final order. To keep things fair and organized, we will be reaching out directly to individuals based on the details submitted in the interest form as boards become available.

i am unable to buy an amiga x5000
my g5 tower had two cpus and i gave it to a friend

I see, you mean a "quadcore amiga[s] finally" for you personally to purchase then! I mistook that for a general statement, probably thanks to the plural form and my conjecture that most people wouldn't purchase more than one :-)
