I have built yet another MDD Powermac G4, it is dual 866 cpu with original Radeon Mac edition card and a usb 2.0 card. All great but when I plug a Soundblaster live card and choose to boot on MorphOS the computer turns off!!! Perhaps not enough power for so many cards? If I boot on MacOSX, no problem....

Is there a hope for the original audio driver to work correctly on MDD? Very low volume or no sound at all so far, on both my MDDs, Why?

I don't know about shutting off with SB Live, sounds like the card may be bad. AFAIK OSX doesn't have drivers for the SB Live, so maybe it isn't initializing it?

The MDD in my experience has audio but low. IIRC you should maximize the audio slider in OSX and reboot into MorphOS to get improvement.
