I'm running the Csh v5.50a and tried again the new muicon/powerterm, but several cursor movement keys like shift/alt/ctrl-left/right doesn't work anymore.
The last version where this works in Csh is muicon-handler v50.21 and PowerTerm.mcc v50.55.
Could this be fixed in muicon/powerterm? Or should Csh be fixed?
here it is http://www.aminet.net/util/shell/csh550a.lha and here is the source http://www.aminet.net/util/shell/csh550src.lha
The qualifier keys for cursor left/right/up/down seems to not working anymore. Cursor left/right is working to move the cursor one char to the left/right. But f.e. shift+left/right isn't working to move the cursor to the prev/next word, it simply does nothing.
I use Csh because of its internal commands and scripting feature.
I once tried to port the source, and was able to produce a halfway working binary, but there were some input/output redirecting issues, if I remember well...
Ok, first of all, I have no idea what's wrong with your setup. Can you check if there's anything in the log? It would be good if you could contact me on irc (freenode, nick jacaDcaps) so that we could discuss this.
As for the missing logo: I simply didn't want to bother with this. Will have a look at some point though ;)
OK, igracki. There seems to be a difference in the key>escape conversion between standard AmigaOS console and PowerTerm's "MorphOS Console" emulator. Will fix that and make an update in a day or two.
But I forgot to mention that I get a "Please insert volume con:" requester at startup;-) I have to press the "Mount" button, before a con-window can be opened!
This obviously didn't occured before, with v50.55 of powerterm.mcc and v50.37 of muicon-hanlder.
And there is no text visible in the menus!
I installed the new powerterm.mcc/mcp and the new muicon-handler, nothing else, I have no powerterm/muicon catalog installed, so I should see the english strings in the menus.
Are you sure CON: is not unmounted twice on your system? Such symptoms (menu thingie) usually show up if you unmount muicon and keep using it. That would also explain the "please insert" requester. Just checked and I'm using exactly the same binary that is on binaryriot
I just launched syscon:, typed 'assign CON: remove dismount' and launched a normal shell from ambient. I got the "Please insert" requester, clicked Mount and the strings were gone indeed. So... go check your startup files :)
