I noticed that Kaya crashes everytime another application tries to reproduce sound (e.g. jabberwocky events which I had to disable, or an mplayer video...).

Is that a problem of just Kaya?

How can I kill applications that had crashed such as Kaya? The task manager doesn't help... Usually I reboot the system. But sometimes, Morphos gets in a state that even the keyboard gets useless, and there's no reset button in my Tower Case (Minuet)!!! :-(

    Any one with similar problems?

I can't remember how it worked, but you can choose another AHI Unit to play the sound.

I can't remember if adding more channels helped to the apps and allowed them to use the same AHI Unit.

Sorry for my lack of memory, I can't test it now...

you have a buggy version of ahi, try to upgrade it.
with the buggy version, you start a prog A that use lowlevel mode,
then you start a prog B that use lowlevel too
the prog B refuse to use ahi since ahi is already busy by prog A.
start prog B again and this time prog B steal ahi, leaving the prog A
    in a very bad state
(i think the faulty file is pegasos.audio)
