Hi, can somebody (Peg2 owner) send results to AmiGOD2 developer? AmiGOD2 benchmark is very popular here and I would like to compare my Pegasos G3 and local Amigas :o)

I runned it, but i can't save my Prefs, so i made a few screenshots but I dont know how and where in the internet to put it.

* The intuition results may be flaky, I got worse results at lower resolutions, even though

AmiGOD2 can't save the module, because there are still some bugs in PowerD language :(

It's much slower than my Pegasos I G3/600MHz, ATI Radeon 8500???

Intuition: It can be illusion. If you have 1024x768, 300 pixels will be only 2/7 of screen and if you have 320x240, it will be whole screen width. That's why the tests in lower resolutions seem to run faster.

BTW. Everyone can send me AmiGOD2 results (2D gfx 800x600x16) and I will put them on my AmiGOD2 website - to the benchmark page.

Come to think of it, someone could try a peg-1 with a radeon and the new driver--just for fun

New Radeon driver is for Peg1 users too?

Which test? Graphics?

Compared to the Peg2 with a Radeon
9000? The Radeon 8500 is (much) faster
than the Radeon 9000. The higher number
is confusing/marketing.

Compare Peg1/G3/600/Radeon 9000 with
Peg2/G3/600/Radeon 9000 (Graphics):

Peg1:
55031 (800x600x16)

Peg2:
52164 (800x600x16)

So not really a statistically measurable
difference.

I know that ATI Radeon 8500 is better.

Pegasos II G4/1GHz, ATI Radeon 8500

Pegasos G3/600MHz, ATI Radeon 8500

Now I am satisfied...
Peg2 is the best :)

I didn't like the low intuition score I got (Dholm) so I reran the benchmark in 800x600x16. These are my results:

Harddisk test try to create 10MB file by default PowerD function. It's early beta, ignore the hdd test result.

BTW: Have you SFS filesystem?

You can just temporarily rename trance.library in "mossys:libs/", and then reboot
(but there may be a more correct/easier method?).

Put "SAVE NOTRANCE 1" in your user-startup and reboot. It's friendly way :o)
