Hi, can somebody (Peg2 owner) send results to AmiGOD2 developer? AmiGOD2 benchmark is very popular here and I would like to compare my Pegasos G3 and local Amigas :o)

You can find AmiGOD2 here: http://www.volny.cz/luky-amiga/

Yeah! I want to see those benchmarks too ;-) Remember to run each test a few times so Trance has enough time to get "up to speed."

Here are some numbers from a few quick tests I just ran:

    Graphics 2D

    74890 -- 320x240x8

    52164 -- 800x600x16

    50368 -- 800x600x24

    Math 68k

    597 -- MorphOS 1.4, JIT Enabled

    182 -- MorphOS 1.4, JIT Disabled

    Intuition*

    2167 -- 800x600x24

    Memory (beta)

    625

    Test system: Pegasos II G3@600
    --------: Radeon 9000 128MB DDR
    --------: 256MB RAM

    * The intuition results may be flaky, I got worse results at lower resolutions, even though
the tests obviously ran faster. :-?

    --edit--

I'll also send in a module (eventually)

    luky,

Didn't you have a "standard" size you set up for tests?

Come to think of it, someone could try a peg-1 with a radeon and the new driver--just for fun ;-)

    >It's much slower than my Pegasos I
    >G3/600MHz, ATI Radeon 8500???

    Which test? Graphics?

Compared to the Peg2 with a Radeon
9000? The Radeon 8500 is (much) faster
than the Radeon 9000. The higher number
    is confusing/marketing.

    Compare Peg1/G3/600/Radeon 9000 with
    Peg2/G3/600/Radeon 9000 (Graphics):

    Peg1:
    55031 (800x600x16)

    Peg2:
    52164 (800x600x16)

So not really a statistically measurable
    difference.

I didn't like the low intuition score I got (Dholm) so I reran the benchmark in 800x600x16. These are my results:
    Graphics 2D: 84828
    Intuition: 2889
    Math 68k: 674
    Harddisk: 12 (Hmm)
    Memory: 1666

    @dholm

You can just temporarily rename trance.library in "mossys:libs/", and then reboot
(but there may be a more correct/easier method?).
