The link doesn't work, but you can download it by visiting MS. It's a very nice program. It would be useful to be able to rotate photos by 90 degrees while remembering their position—to eliminate "lying" ones.

Thanks tomasz for the info ;-) Fixed

v1.2 will have auto-rotate from EXIF informations, is that you would like?

Oh man, this is a great piece of work. I'll start testing it right away and look forward to its development. This is the perfect app for me – I need to navigate through the many photo directories. Thank you!

I'm really enjoying Momento so far — it's already very useful for browsing large photo collections.
I actually have tens of thousands of images stored on my NAS, so tools like this make a huge difference in daily work.

One thing I'm really looking forward to is an information overlay (filename, resolution, EXIF, path, etc.). That would make navigation and selection much faster and more efficient.

Great work so far — and yes, I’m already waiting for the next version :)

I may not get it, but what's the benefit over MorphOS inbuild Showcase?

I guess many users didn't really figure out the somewhat hidden features of ShowCase yet ;)
Having some options to choose from is always nice to have, though.

If Showcase had a user interface instead of contextual menus, it would certainly be easier to use. But it doesn't do the same thing as Momento. Momento is a file manager, allowing you to copy or move images to another folder or a new one. And that's just the beginning.

Well, you probably never tried ShowCase's Album Manager then but I can't really tell if Momento is any different or ahead there.
But I agree that ShowCase's UI and the way it is to be used is difficult to deal with for beginners and needs some learning curve.
Either way, having multiple options to choose from is always good.

In fact, Momento makes managing photo files more intuitive.

But it's still very new, and it will certainly improve further if we encourage its creator :-)
