I want to use my MorphOS Mac Mini running 3.9 to receive incoming serial data from a serial connection. I already have a null modem rs232 to usb cable but not familiar with an easy to use comms package on MorphOS that I can leave running in the background grapping serial data from other systems.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks

    TJ

Term is pretty good. Version 4.8 I believe is the last one.
It's 68k but does it's job well under MorphOS.
It supports a lot of protocols, if you need it, like zmodem, etc.

I have used it already with an USB serial adapter. Works pretty well.

I wonder if the logtool program from the MorphOS SDK would work, if only thing you need is to monitor some serial messages?
