    The site engine offers an option to enable image downscaling in case a picture is too large. However, this functionality does not work as advertized. As a result, large pictures, which were added frequently, tend to a) break the website's layout, b), more importantly, greatly reduce readability because they enforce uberlong text lines and c) make the website harder to navigate using common input methods (scrolling forum comments horizontally is generally considerably less convenient than scrolling vertically).

    Of course, everyone is free to embed an image link instead which is hardly less informative.
