Because we have also some new User which never had an Amiga before (and because perhaps some of the Amiga User still don`t know):

Did you know that you could cut and paste text in most apps with

    rcommand c (cut)
    rcommand v (paste)

    and

    Did you know that
you could delete a complete Textline pressing shift delete

(errr.. no.. not the delete Button near the numberblock but the other one.. hell what is it called again? It was not delete, was it?)

    bladerunner..what is rcommand ? button ?

    TIP
I don't know if someone mention it already but if you want to bring a window from back to front you can always double-click with your mouse on the Title-bar of your window instead of that button of the top-right.
..there will be only one left.

    pretty obvious, but why not?

    Did you know...
...That you can move to the beginning or end of text line by pressing shift+left or shift+right?

And it could be added to Bladerunner's tip, that shift+delete deletes all text on the right side of cursor, while shift+backspace (or whatever you call it?) deletes all text on the left side of the cursor...

    Bladerunner:

Sorry, but I have to correct you:

    rcommand x (cut)
    rcommand c (copy)
    rcommand v (paste)

These have to work everywhere :)

Here I have to "correct" (perhaps add to) your tip:

    rcommand x (cut)
    rcommand c (copy)
    rcommand v (paste)
    rcommand b (inits block marking)

They usually work everywhere, especially within MUI apps.

I use these shortcuts to navigate through textfiles.
(don't know if these work in all apps though)

shift + right --> move cursor to end of line
shift + left --> move to start of line
shift + up --> move one page up
shift + down --> move one page down
ctrl + up --> begin of document
ctrl + down --> end of document
