I've wanted a Sonnet Encore MDX for my MDD (FW800) for a long time. Now that G5 support is coming, i finally score one. Go figure!

Anyhow, any Sonnet Encore MDX owners here? I wonder how overclockable it is? My Newertechnology MaxPower G4 (Quicksilver) was fast as hell and was stable at 2Ghz. I wonder how the MDX is?

    Lucky dog,
That processor is rare and usually commands a top price.
I used to have a 1.8 in my Quicksilver, but I sold it.
I wouldn't count on getting any more then 2.0 GHz out of the MDX.
Seems to be about the limit for this processor family.

I gave it some thought, but I'd better not.
