Can I put in a 1TB or 500GB Drive in my Powermac, and will it be supported under MorphOS?

Yes you can, but remember that each filesystem has its own limits for partition sizes. For example, keep SFS partitions under 128GB each. Find out the limits and features, and then select suitable filesystems for your needs.

If I make an HFS partition, that's going to be read-only under MorphOS right? I'm trying to downsize my physical media and rip my DVDs and CDs, and store them long term. I know SFS is limited to 128GB.

    HFS is read/write, HFS+ is read-only.

Thanks for clearing that up. So I plan to have my 160GB drive for MorphOS Apps / Games / UAE Stuff and a large External RAID for my Media. 8-)
