    Yoo,

Tried to get the bios off the Elite Mac Wiki, but the downloads section is not working at the moment. Needing to flash three Radeon 8500 cards.

Anyone got the file off hand? Think its ati_ret_8500pro_227_agp_full.zip

Can someone please upload it somewhere and provide a link or PM me and ill give u my email address. Thanks! 8-)

Ended up finding another bios on another site. Not sure if It is the exact one, but I think there was ever only one kind of 8500 for Mac.

Jim did my reflash on my Radeon 8500, so he should still have the BIOS file on his hard drive.

I also managed to pull the bios from the reflashed mac card I did, and it was still the same results. Both 8500s I got were faulty. Oh well, took a gamble at it.

Hope my 9800 Pro works when it gets here.

Try again with the Mac Elite website: I've just downloaded the 8500 rom with success. If you encounter any problem I can send you the rom file.

Thanks Jambalah. This morning it worked for me as well. I will be sure to pull files for the 9800 as well.

Um, I'm glad you found the files, 'cause my hard drive crashed months ago (making me even more wary on Windows) so no 8500 BIOS files here (except for 8500LE/9100 files I have on CD).

As to the 9800 BIOS, if I remember right one work better then the other.
Also, you might just want to try Apple's original BIOS.
It fit on my 9800XT (so I didn't need a reduced BIOS).
