    Hi all!
    I've got a problem: though I have a new battery, bought it almost 2 months ago and though I've checked it, I've always have a "not registered version" system into the MorphOS Info window.
    Is there something else I have to check, I mean hard disk, dvd ram/rom, memory etc?
    Thanks in advance!

    AFAIK only Efikas are known to change MAC-addresses after a failing battery.

    For those the solution is to do (cold) reboot till it's registered again and then insert the battery while it's still running.

    @Kronos:
    I had read something about possible problems with a failing or not well charged battery (and sincerely I changed it when it was discharged and that solved the problem) but as prompt warns when the 29th minute is reached, it could be a hardware failure. Since I experienced a couple of sudden blank screens (here it's really hot this days) I moved down usb pci card and SBLive allowing air to reach the heatsink of graphic card in a better way. No blank screens anymore and no more pronlems with morphos.key at the same time. I could only think that was the problem...

    When I was last using my Efika I had two D-cells hooked up to the clock battery socket thinking that would be the last time I'd have to feed it another one of those little, snack-sized coin batteries. While they lasted longer than a coin battery, they were still run down a lot faster than I anticipated.

    (edit) Ah. You're not talking about an Efika system...
