I'm going out shortly to pick up a MDD and a Digital Audio along with a 22" Apple Monitor. Not sure the specs or what exactly works, but it is worth a shot. I hope the MDD works so I can test it side-by-side with my Quicksilver.

Fun days! Sure beats bidding up 20 year old hardware on eBay ;-)

Well one is 400Mhz Gigabit Ethernet, not Digital Audio, and has issues.

The other is a MDD Dual 1Ghz with 1.25GB RAM and Radeon 7500 which works great. I was hoping to hit the jackpot and get a 1.42Ghz model but no luck ;-)The 22" Apple Monitor works great too.

I'm probably going to keep the 22" display as it will beat the heck out of the 17" CRT I am using ATM on my Quicksilver. I'm going to use the MDD for a while this weekend with MOS demo to compare with my Quicksilver. After that, I will probably eBay it.

Let us know when you post it Red.

I'm interested in moving to a 133MHz bus MDD to experiment with FSB overclocking.

I'd imagine the value of a 400Mhz Powermac would be lower than the cost of postage these days.

I bought a dual 1.42GHz G4 Apple CPU card from a guy in China on eBay that had more than one of them for sale. I think I made an offer of $50 and he accepted my offer and sent it to me. It is an easy swap from the dual 1.25GHz G4 CPU module that I had originally, so if you keep your dual 1.0GHz G4, you could get one of those dual 1.42GHz G4 CPU modules for yourself and you would have the "jackpot" that you were hoping for, for just an additional $50 plus shipping.

Let me know if you want the eBay seller's identification to contact him and see if he has any more of them still.
