[Quote]Hi, I was an amiga user many years ago and am keen to give morphos a go. I know I should just get a standatd g4 mac or a mini that will definatly work but I like making life difficult for myself. I can get a dual g4 xserve for a reasonable price and am wondering if morphos will run on it? Has anyone tried it on an xserve? I did some searches but didnt find anything.
Cheers

What is the model and manufacture date of this dual G4 Mac? I wonder what differences it has from the dual G4 PowerMac's? If it uses much of the same parts as one of the supported dual G4 PowerMac's, then there is a fair chance that it might work, or could easily be added to the list of supported Mac models with a little tweaking of the MorphOS install CD by one of the Team's developers.
P.S. I am finally back after working for 4-1/2 weeks on the big island of Hawaii, supervising the completion of a 2.5+ million dollar house that has been under construction for over 4 years. The owners have fired the original contractor and several sub-contractors and a couple of sub-contractors have quit, after taking most of the money they were owed for a complete project. It was not a vacation in any way and I am glad to be home, although as part of my pay, I will be returning to use the house and property with several friends later, after the furnishings are purchased and installed and the final landscaping and swimming pool/spa are completed. It is across the road from the Ocean about 21 miles North of Hilo, Hawaii on 18 acres of land with many fruit trees (mostly Lychee).
