So, I've installed a sil3112 pci sata controller on my peg2 and connected a 500gb seagate HD on it. The problem is, when I make long copies to that drive after a while the copy stops and the drive is no longer recognized. All partitions are formatted as SFS through Morphos and do not exceed 95gb in size. Also, I've tried with both 512 and 1024 sectors and the problem remains. I've successfully completed all copy jobs through AOS4.1, which makes me think that the hardware is ok and there must be some bug in the driver (?) Also, I've tried to increase the partitions' buffers through the sfs control tool and I think the copy lasted longer before hanging, but still hanged before the end. I've also tried removing one of 2 1gb ram sticks and the problem persists (it's rev. 2b5 so this shouldn't be a problem anyway). Anyone else with the same problem, any idea? Thx!
