I notice that there is a prism2 device driver for MorphOS on aminet. Now I happen to have a D-link DWL-122 here, and tried it on my Mac Mini/MOS2.5. From what I have read, the chipset in this WLAN USB stick is prism2 based.
But if I try to load the prism2 device driver in network setup it just says it is unable to open the device. I know that this device driver is not written for USB devices, and by the readme it only supports 11mbps, but since its the only wireless driver available that I know of, I wanted to test it anyway.
The DWL-122 is recognized by poseidon, but the settings for it is disabled, so it seems I cant do anything more than watch it.

Is there any way to use this wireless unit with MorphOS/MacMini, or any other wireless units for that matter?

I can't tell much about prism2 based devices but you can consider I'm happy owner of a Netgear DG834GT wireless modem router that allows speed up to 108Mbps and wireless function can be freely activated or deactivated by user through the firmware fully accessible from OWB.
Btw! I won that modem/router on ebay auction for only 14 euros

    AFAIK the prism.device can only access PCMCIA-cards (A600/1200) and, I think, PCI-WLAN-Cards - it won?t run on USB-ports.......
    Peg2, 3xPowerMac G5, 2xPowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T and life is never boring.....

    I simply use this device:

    http://www.testfreaks.com/wireless-network/asus-wl-330ge/

to get any of my network hardware online wireless. Its a great tool not only to convert any ethernet device into a wireless network device (I use it for my Playstation2, Efika, Mac mini). No more dealing with system specific configs and issues. Just plug and surf.

It is also an Accesspoint and a Repeater. While the first opens a wlan where only lan exists is the second enlarging an existing wireless netbook.

To make your system wireless connected you just need to plug in the short network cable and plug the power interface into an usb port you are not using. If there is none, then there is always the included power supply. In most cases there is a usb port for powering the device.

It is also handy when someone needs to access your network and you don?t want to share the password.

All cables come in a nice pocket. I know around 10 people bought this thingy at least once and noone has reported any problems with it.

Thumbs up for this cool hardware.

    Thanks for the replies.
Actually I already have a similar adaptor, a Linksys WBP54G. It works well on home networks.
Only thing I notice is that it seems that it takes a few seconds more before the transfers starts, compared to a direct cable connection.
But at work I had problems connecting with the linksys adaptor at all. I read somewhere that this adaptor doesnt work with AP's with multiple adress ranges (or some thing like that).
The Mac Mini/OSx part connects to this network without any problems via the inbuilt Wifi adaptor, but not via the WBP54G.
Thats why I wanted to test if the USB adaptor could work. Maybe the Asus is better with these kind of network.

Also I did order one of those VAP11G adaptors found on ebay.co.uk at the moment. Looks very nice, with power consumptions of only max 1.5w it doesn need any external PSU. I will test this adaptor next time at work.
