    Hi there!

After years of absence, I wanted to resurrect my Peg I with April 1.

So I carried it up from the storage room, attached all cables (power, VGA, PS/2 mouse and keyboard) and pressed the power button. The Pegasos powers on, but nothing ever appears on the screen. There's also no harddrive activitiy. Pressing ESC (and keeping it pressed) right after power on also does nothing.

I already tried to reseat every component, but this didn't change anything :-(

Does anybody have a hint or clue at what I could try? Or is everything indicating that this machine is dead? Which would be sad indeed.

    Cheers,
    Pego

    Bingo!

Turned out the memory had turned defective. Luckily, I still had another ECC-RAM at hand. Replaced it - et voila! It booted!

    Thanks!
