    Hello,

I prefer to do my reading by email if possibly so I can carry it around on my palm TX pda. Are there any morphos forums available by email for instance on yahoogroups, freelists or googlegroups?

Prospective Mac and Morphos buyer in the UK

    thanks

The google groups is ok but seems to be tied to google mail since i cant find anywhere to change my email from gmail.

The Morphos ML doesnt have the address to send the subscription email to.

    thanks

amigaworld being a website forum doesnt have the ability to be read offline with my palm pda when i am away from a wifi hotspot hence the preference for email.

    thanks

That seems to have worked with a welcome message to both of those email
    lists.

Now just have to wait for something to come through to be sure

    Thanks

The activity in the mailing list is so little that you would think it doesn't work. It does, but there's perhaps a dozen messages per week, on average.

The MorphOS mailing list is strictly for support related inquiries.

For everything else, the websites MorphZone, Meta MorphOS, Pegasosforum and Pegasos.org are still the best places to visit.

Thank for the info about email accounts.

I already get some email by gmail so i was stuck with that with my current account.
I ended up creating a new account just for usenet then filling in my normal email address.

If your palmtop is offline-only, use your mobile and flat packet tariff. AmigaWorld.net comes with pda/mobile edition so can be browsed smoothly with most mobile phones starting from 176x220.
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
    Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

Yes i could tether it to my phone but email just works better for a small screen thats available on pdas.
Also i dont have a data plan with my pay as you go mobile network.

I dont really want to start paying for a poor experience.

    thanks for your time

    Interesting....

    http://www.meta-morphos.org/index.php?op=edito

I cant see a link to the emglish version and it doesnt recognise my default language in my web browser to redirect to the english section.

Have you a link to english part?

No. How did you reach the conclusion that there would be one?
