As mentioned in the subject, I curious about what happens if you try to install MorphOS on a G4 Mac (other than the Mac Mini).
Some of the G4s have hardware that's very similar to the Mini.

Sorry if this question has been posted before.

MorphOS kernel checks for a hardware identifier, if it doens't match, it refuses to boot. Wait for the next release with PowerMac G4 and eMac (was that one officially confirmed?) support.

OK, the first answer was (obvious) the truth, but thanks for the second reply. That helped me understand why it wouldn't work.

Nice! I can't believe you came up with that this quick.

    Sometimes you scare me Andreas.
Well, I can play around now until an official release.
Unfortunately I only have a Radeon 9000Pro on hand (64MB), but it should do.

    Thanks!

By "guess what came out of it" I meant to say that nothing came out of it. You can try of course, but that's wasted time in my opinion.

Radeon 9000 Pro is perfectly fine in terms of MorphOS support.

Its OK, I can wait. It gives me time to locate a faster G4 processor.
    Take care.
