I just purchased me a new mp3 player (in title) but it won't work on poseidon.
It just ain't being mounted.
I even tried on my amiga4000 with latest poseidon but still no go.
But it tries to mount it there.
It should be fully mass storage compatible ..that's why I bought it but guess not.
Works ok on pc but would prefer to use peg for loading it with mp3.
MAybe on a next release of poseidon for morphos?
Where can I find the log for this device failure?..maybe I can send it to chris hodges.

I did a little looking and I think you're out of luck there.. That's a Microsoft Plays For Sure device, and they sort of fouled it for true standards.

Update to the latest MOS poseidon. Use a masstorage.class (all classes should work) from previous 68k release, newest doesn't work. Set March's FatFilesystem in poseidon prefs. Set it for CD too. Works here with samsung mp3player.

Too bad no go for this device.
I'll have to invest in another mp3 player with a fm radio.
Don't want too use a pc every time to transfer mp3's.
