    No quite, If you notice aRTiCA is the name of the company, not the chip.

    I doubt it's anything to do with Apple (they roll their own) but would be a way of creating a modern low cost G5 machine and unlike Articia and Discovery this looks like it has been designed specifically for desktop usage.

    If Genesi decide to do a G5 machine I suspect this'd be top of the list for North Bridge candidates.
