For some reason my new oldstock 4400mAh battery is detected as a 5610mAh one in both MorphOS and OS X
So as soon I get the low battery warning somewhere below 30% it is essentially at 0% already. Quite annoying.
Anything that can be done or should I just get a spare?

If the system turns off automatically.

Close the lid and charge it without opening it, using it or cutting the power until charging is 100% done.

That should calibrate it. If not your battery is not compatible or broken and you need to live with it.
