Ext2 might be another option to try.

How can I format a partition with fat32 on morphos?
HDConfig only has a FAT entry for Filesystem, when I choose to edit a partition!?

I was a bit too fast and a bit wrong when writing the former post. It is not FAT32 I used, but the FAT provided by MorphOS for Maclayout disks (whatever FAT that is). And as I discovered now (the setup with the external hdd is pretty new) this doesn't work the way I hoped.
So for now there is a HFS+ partition and a sfs partition and a "space for rent" that should do the task of data exchange - which turns out not to be a trivial thing.

Whenever you're sad just remember the world is 4.543 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.
