Unfortunately the sale didnt go well :( So has anyone here got a Pegasos 1 for ?60 inc P&p (hopefully in the UK)

You could avoid data corruption when using old model HDD, which doesn't use high DMA modes. I have a preapril peg1 atm and using it with 3.2Gb Fujitsu HDD - it's slow but no corruption.

Aha, that could be explanation I have never had any problems with my peg1 no april :) I did a lot of testing when back when I got it, but
this far no probs regarding corruption.
I have two hard drives, one 3GB and one 10GB.
