I've decided not to repair my Pegasos II. I've got a G4 MDD on order, who do I contact to get the key from my Pegasos II transferred to my Mac?

I'd say the best way is to register the MDD and add a line like "replacement for broken Peg" in the "purpose" field.

At which point the team might ask for proof of the Peg's death.

As previously mentioned, register your replacement machine and add a note that it is going to replace a broken pegasos.

Why you don´t want to repair the CPU Board?

In most cases it can be repared, unless the cpu itself is blown.

The cost of such repair might wel exceed the price of a second hand PPC Mac, which also is better than the Peg 2 :-)

I also have one "burnt" model. Never looked too much into it, don't have MorphOS registered for it either. Had separate MorphOS Peg2 back then, Nowadays I'm still running MorphOS on the same system, but mostly on PowerBook. Only wish there was OpenGL support :-)

    It's really easy and fast.
MorphOS team replaced the key of my broken MDD in a couple of hours without any problem-
    That's what i call customer service!!! :-)

Well, as I said if it is not the CPUI, it just depends on where and who repairs it.

Before trashing it (and any other peg2 parts) away, ship them over to me. :D

My Pegasos could need a G4.
