Just opened my powerbook and noticed that the 2 key is super sensitive and will print 2's even when I'm typing other characters. If I press the 2 key I get at least two 2's with one press.

Is this a keyboard issue correctible by cleaning or is it a motherboard issue?

Any help, this is my first piece of apple hardware and I'm a bit squimish about prying on the keyboard or taking apart at this point, but I don't want to ship it back if I can correct it.

    Thanks for the help!

I had a problem with the "n" key. It ended up it was a small piece of debris between the bottom of the key and the mechanism below it. Shaking the Powerbook and blowing on the keyboard got it out.

If you get SSD for your Powerbook give us a walk though.
I want to upgrade a 40GB Fujitsu. I had looked at Wd2500beve and Wd3200beve hard drives but since it's a laptop the SSD seems to be a better choice___quick, quiet, and no disc. OWC legacy seems to be the choice?
    Any others in the market?

    Plenty:

    http://www.heise.de/preisvergleich/eu/?cat=hdssd&xf=257_IDE%2044-Pin~251_2.5%22&sort=p#xf_top

That's a listing for the EU but I'm sure you can use the product names and numbers to find them at your place also.
