    Same pictures used in all of those auctions makes me wonder if they all were really new PowerBooks as advertised. The picture of the open PowerBook looked like it had been heavily used with marks or scratches near and on the track pad area and keyboard.

    Final prices went from $390 up to $540, or about 2 to 2.75 times what I paid for my 15" model 1138 PowerBook. I might have been tempted to go up to close to the $390 price for a new PowerBook, but would never have bid as high as $540 for one of them.

    I did not realize that the guy selling them had more than one to sell.
