I know it still may not happen but I like the idea of being able to run MorphOS on a laptop so much that I'm seriously considering to get a PowerBook in the hope that I'll be running MorphOS on it before too long.

The only drawback to this is that I've become accustomed to my nice 1920x1080 display and I'd most likely want to keep using it or something better if / when MorphOS is available for PowerBooks. After a brief search for related topics, I'm still not sure if MorphOS can or will support external displays - either by switching between internal or external or perhaps supporting two displays simultaneously.

My powerbook is 1440 x 960, not big enough for ya?

edited to add: The final, best/most expensive model's 17 inch model's normal resolution is is 1680×1050.

I used to get by with much less but since I've gotten back into programming I've found it very convenient to have three or more full length editor windows open side by side. I would actually find the crazy hi-res 2560 x 1600 some PowerBooks can put out quite useful...

Well, if I really wanted to go overboard, I'd use a Cinema display but there must be others that can do resolutions higher than 1920x1080. But mainly, I'd just like to be able to attach at least a full-hd display when it suits me.

There is always the way of using virtual screens and the network to get some fancy result. Here a video of using two displays with Mac mini, Pegasos or even the Efika.
