    @xyphoid

    Once you manage to give us more details about specific errors etc. we might be able to help you. That being said, if it is indeed ntfs formatted you will not be able to write to it.

    If it was ext2 formatted you would be able to read/write from all OSes (on windows with a third party ifs). But of course providing actual error messages would still help us determine why it is not mounted read only at least.

    I had the same problem with my NTFS pre-formatted 0.5 TB PATA HDD in a USB 2.0 enclosure. After re-formatting it to FAT32 using MacOSX I could mount it in MorphOS.

    yea that was puzzling, I'll try it again later, you need the poseidon error window info, or something else like a log? can't recall exactly, just that the error was in caps
    let me know if info needs to be specific.

    Poseidon logs could help, you could also check if the partition shows up in mounter.

    Had a 1.5TB one working on the Mini, so size is not the problem.

    reformatted on pc, then that wasn't good mac complained about not able to read ignore, initialize, I opened it chose erase which seem like taking forever, so I quit, replugged into my ubuntu, but it came up under the reformatted name, then plugged into morph and it came up.
    one note...the drive only works under direct power from usb, no hubs (I guess unless the hub is self powered) anyway it's good now
