Hi All,

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I've tried copying files from a couple of USB flash drives, a USB card reader, and a USB hard disc on my Mac mini running MorphOS 2.5 without success. I had the same problem under 2.4 but hoped the 2.5 update would fix it.

The progress bar box pops up saying "buffering..." but hangs forever and copies nothing. If I try copying from the command line, I get the same problem.

Is there any settings I can play around with to try and fix this?

First start from checking Poseidon logs in System Preferences / USB. Sometimes there is a need to tweak some device specific settings in order for USB sticks to work right. Another reason might be low power or low quality cabling.

Fixed!

I changed from "trust device" to "override to bus powered" in the information window, and enabled "Better removable support" under the settings. All working great now. Thanks!
