Embedded G4 boards and systems are really nothing special. In fact, there are countless vendors of such systems. But that doesn't make them suitable for desktop computing. Any reason you're pointing to Varisys in particular?

No these aren't that exciting. A VME board (I hardly remember that old standard) and a standalone system with specs that don't beat (by any real margin) hardware we already have cheap.
Looking at Varisys because of their X1000 connection?
Their design services offering PASemi and Freescale processors is more interesting.

looking by webs i found this page but this model i think is not a board, is a complete system with a lot of powerfull and of course nothing similar to x1000, is very small like efika?s :)
