Since last night my Peg2 G3 refuses to boot after making one minor adjustment to nvramrc. Now at power on hd starts, hd led goes off and then flashes shortly, but keyboard leds do not flash and no signal to screen... Tried removing the battery, changing memory module and disconnected everything extras...

So I think something has gone wrong in writing nvramrc. Is there some other way to restore factory state than sending the motherboard for repair ? (If no, this will sadly end my MorphOS usage...)

If you can't keep him running again: Write a mail to tk@bplan-gmbh.de (= Thomas Knaebl from BPlan, the producer-company of Pegasos). Normaly they can repair any Peg (there are enough spare parts....) or can reflash the OF..... (They repared my PEG2 during 4 weeks...).

You forgot to mention that taking the risk to kill the flash usally isn't for free, though :)

How do I grab the serial debug output so that it's readable to someone ?

Got in contct with Thomas Kn?bel, there's some life, wishing for the best :)

And back in the game !
Allthough G3 is a slow processor I'm still happy to be able to use my Peg ! One day I'll have enough savings to register MorphOS too

You need a computer with serial port and a terminal software. I use an old Amiga for that purpose and the software "Term" which is btainable from http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Services/PDA/AmigaComm.shtml . On Windows maschines there are plenty free terminal progams, too (Windows itself has one build in). Just select the serial port as input and chose receive data. Then everything that the Peg sends out should get written to the terminal software. It is rather easy and straight forward.
