    New guy here :)

So I saw a thread mentioning that G4 Powermac support was coming, but the main website only says mac mini and the Pegasus machines. Any dates on the powermacs yet? Or was this in some obvious place, that I just happened to completely miss

    Cheers!
Amiga 1200 and G4 MDD MOS as my main computers.

I have to say, it will be quite exciting for new mac new world enthusiasts like me. I've been trying to get one of the 1.42 versions, dual cpu hopefully
    My Macs:
    Powerbook G4 ALU 1.5GHZ 15" 1.5GB OSX.5.8
    Powermac G4 MDD 1.5GHZ OSX.5.8 MOS2.7

Want a part for a Mac? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

Amithlon is amazing, questions and help I can provide.

Well at least with MOS team, 'when it's ready' isn't synonymous with 'when it snows in hell' or 'when monkeys fly out of my butt' like with some other companies we could mention..

Their track record of actually delivering real products which actually work continues unabated :-)

Well due to the mentality of "when its ready" and surprise release dates we lost Many people in the community in 04-06.... so a change in this policy would be wise...

    @Magneto

Well, taking in count the thin user base of MorphOS and the unbeliveable amount of work put on by the developers to push, from the ground up, every feature of the system, im happy enough too see the development going at its own speed and try every version that comes out when its the right time for it,

(and no, 150 euro license fee divided by the number of devs, makes an almost-nothing-per-hour)

    Complaining is not the key

IMO, The license fee is not enough to "pay" the devs for his work. months and years of constant work, with users fucking off on the forums, trolling here and there, asking for this and that. God i have seen, as many of us, even a thread asking the MorphOS Team to disclose the internal account balance! Oh C?mon!

This is not a*pple, microS*hoft or whatever big boy in the industry. We have not zillions of dollards to pay developers, we dont need roadmap, we dont need the feature list of the next version, preannouncements of the announces...Just see the system alive and evolving. I even dont care that much about the platform.

No we?re not a*pple and probably, we dont like to.

I'd like too much to see some screenshots of MorphOS porting to PowerMac G4 :-)
Will be it possible a day to enable the support of Dual Processor PowerPC G4 in MorphOS ?
    regards
