    Hey guys
I thought it would be cool if someone like Hammer D or geit or someone (who has everything on the planet running morph) give us a write up of speed comparison and pros and cons of running Morphos 2 on these boxes.

Some real world results would be nice. TIA

    Pega-1

    Hahahah! 8-D
Miracles are always possible! Someone did cross post the original announcement from laire though :-)

I was hoping he would post on MZ for the new Year like a new resolution or something....

What are you currently running morphos on?

Peg-2 is fast, Mac Mini faster :) You notice it more in computational things and not general usage. Like playing back a 720p video etc...

pretty much yes. mini is a bit quicker and owb is quicker, but i would not throw away your peg2. :) peg2 is still pretty fast.

You can have more gfx mem (and faster gfx card/multiple outputs) on Peg. I sometimes run out of vmem even on 64M mini when using lots of stuff on enhanced display. But it's not that bad.. it's more what you want and like. Expandability/gfx options vs. raw cpu speed/compact size...

...and a lot more expandable, which is a nice feature quite appreciated by some!

I guess the PowerMac (being a real desktop) will have it all... :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)
