External speakers for the macmini?

    Yes. They work.

    It's a stereo output jack, I don't understand the question. I've got mine into a Quad 34/303 into some Sony, possibly speakers. Other amplification/speaker systems are available.

    Apple had "Apple Pro Speakers" that used a Apple specific mini jack that was smaller than the MINI'S. So generic speakers will work for the Mac Mini? :-(

    Th emini uses a 3.5 mm jack. The early ipods used special jacks IIRC.
