Pegasos 2 main board + Cpu 750 CX module

    hi, a few months ago my pegasos cpu module was broken and I purchased pegasos 1 cpu module from ebay, the point is, cpu did not work, is there any solution

    well, peg1 and peg2 cpu modules aren't compatible... so the solution is to buy a peg1 board or peg2 cpu... or send the broken cpu module to bplan, and let it fix...

    I talked with bplan, fixing price is a little bit high for me , so I am looking for a new cpu board

    AFAIR you can use a Peg1 CPU in a Peg2 by setting some jumpers on the board. A friend did that on a PowerDev Meeting a while ago.

    Axel Knabe also repairs CPU modules, as long as not the CPU has been burned.

    Geit is right, the Peg1 has a different FSB clock than the Peg2 (100 vs. 133 Mhz), so the multiplicator-jumper must be changed (6x on the Peg1, 4.5x on the Peg2).

    bplan also replies my emails but I asked phone and told me, 200euro for board + 200 euro for cpu + shipping

     :-)

    what my 750 CX settings should be I tried

    mine was the second position jumper layout and I switch to first but still no screen appear
