My Pegasos II won't boot anymore. The bootmenu loads just fine but when I want to start MorphOS it just hangs after displaying the quark/openfirmware line.

Same when booting from a MOS cd. Linux also won't boot, it complains about DMA.

I've removed every card from my Pegasos, changed RAM, removed harddrives but no go.

Just when I bought the Hollywood/Designer update and wanted to upgrade :-x

try to replace the HD/CD-ROM flat cable as well before to contact BPlan, that (i'm quite sure) will fix it.

I just tried two different linux live cd's and they both startup, but after the kernel loads it's a no go.

I try switching ide cables next but I doubt that's it because my harddrives are on ide port 1 and dvd on port 2. It would be really strange if both cables are bad.

Also tried my old psu but that didn't help either. I'm out of ideas, don't know what else to try besides sending my Pegasos to BPlan for repairs.

Hook up your peg to another computer with a NULL modem so you can see what IKARUS returns for you so we can see some info..
