    Yes, from what I understand 2 channel Silicon Image 3x1x controllers are supported natively in MorphOS now.
    But I thought someone else had recently mentioned a second controller series with drivers.

    Sil3112 based cards are <10€ on eBay and should work out of the box.

    You might even be able to reflash them to PPC/OF allowing use in OSX and cold boot from SATA.

    Before I moved solely to G5s and PowerMacs, I used a combo of an IDE boot drive and an SATA drive controlled by an Sil based card to get by the firmware issues (obviously under MorphOS exclusively).
    Now let's see, who's idea was that...
