Which SSD + IDE Adaptor for PowerBook G4?

    Hi there!

    I was thinking about changing my current SSD, which is pretty dated and slow, with a new SSD. As we know there is no TRIM Support in MorphOS, so the drive should have something like that in it's hardware. Garbage Collection or Hardware TRIM or something like that.

    I read that it's possible to use 1,8" SATA drives with an SATA-IDE adaptor in the PowerBook. Which adaptor should i take? Do i have to consider some specific features?

    Which drive+adaptor combination do you suggest? I was thinking about a 128GB drive.

    Nimm am besten eine Samsung Evo mit mSata Anschluss und ein Adapter dazu.

    Hatte erst eine Mach Xtreme SSD im G5 stecken, damit wollte er nicht hochfahren. Bin dann auf Samsung gewechselt, die geht auf Anhieb und bietet Dir das gewünschte.

    i think mSATA+adaptor is the better choice. i could easily change the ssd with a newer one and it would be less expensive.
